Compilation error

When I compiling the job, I am getting the following error

" This job contains one or more unattached links, all links must be attached before compiling"

I checked and all the stages in the job is linked to each other. When I press the 'Show Error' button it is not highlighting the stage also .

If it is not linked then the arrow will be in red colour. What could be the reason for this?

Search is your friend! Try an exact search for "This job contains one or more unattached links".

Chulett,

As mentioned by Ray in the forum, when I zoom out ( minimise) and I found one unattached link present in the farther end of the screen which is not under screen view.

This mistake happened because I copied a job from one project to another and deleted the stages not required for the present job.

This problem is resolved and compilation was success since I deleted the unattached link and its stage.
