Hey All ,

My Datastage server is on Unix server (and have user access settings likewise) , and I am tryng to write a file in a windows shared folder. Is there a specific access rights that I need to have in order to write those files ?

Thanks

Probably, you'd need to check with whomever setup the share.

I don't know about directly writing to a windows share. What you can do is write it in UNIX box and FTP it to the windows share.

I assumed (perhaps inappropriately) that it was mounted in some fashion to the UNIX server - NFS, Samba, whatever.
