When we try to create hash files the job is aborting with the following error message :

" DSD.UVOpen mkdbfile: cannot create file "


Can anyone of you help me ?

No, but whoever grants permissions on the server's file system can.

In other words, make sure you've specified a valid directory path and hashed file name, and that you have permissions to create files in that directory.
