SAP BW Process Chains

We are using version 8.0.1

and the associated versions of BW packs

I have a question on invoking PROCESS chains.

It seems I have to give a infopackage and CANNOT simple kick off a process chain.


We designed a process chain that will pull or invoke two datastage jobs to get data and flow the data all the way to BW objects.

But we have to give a info package when we kick of the process chain so we designed a dummy infopackage that takes 0 rows and kicks of the process chain.

The process chain seems to only pull one of the jobs and not the other one.

I know most of this might have to do with BW definitions but most importantly has anyone ran into this situations before
