Internal Error Code

Hi friends,

I am trying to extract some records to flat file from database Oracle using datastage server edition.

I am getting the following error

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [ktspNextL1:4], [], [], [], [], [], [], []

Can anyone help me regarding the same.

It's an Oracle internal error code, not a DataStage internal error code, so surely you should be asking your Oracle DBA?

An ORA "600" is a catch-all fairly nasty error. As noted, only your DBA can help you out on that one.

I already had this error.

There was a bug in a job ending in inserting some bad characters in a table.
(If I remember well, it was @FM character or something like that).

We had the error when doing a query with join conditions on the field having that bad character.

I had actually to drop and re-create the table. Deleting the records was't enough.
