Post by kaps »

I am facing strange problem. If I try to open a DB2 Bulk Load stage in the job I am getting following error

"Run-time error '6148'"...Invalid Row Number.

It happenes when I try to open Aggregator stage too...

7.5.2 is the version.

Please let me know whats causing this.

Who knows? Does this just happen to you or everyone? If just you then try uninstalling and then reinstalling the client software on your pc.

How did you uninstall? After the uninstall, did you delete all leftover directories and registry keys for the product and reboot before reinstalling?

No clue. What operating system and patch / service pack level is your PC?

you need to make sure that you have removed all ds components before re-installing again.
From registry remove any entries that refer to DS client from HKEY_CURRENT_USERS and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

You should be able to find them all if you search for 'Ascential' in regedit, from what I recall. Pre-8.x anyway.
