Can we use FTP plug in stage to sftp the files just by changing the port number to 22?

Have you tried this? It can't do any harm to try (if it fails, it will "fail safe").

Hi Ray,

I have tried this.Job is getting into the infinite loop by filling up the log with 'SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_3.1p' message infinite times.
Request you to suggest if there is any way to sftp the files using DS particularly with FTP plug in stage(other than Unix shell scripting)

Couldn't imagine it would have worked but worth the try I guess.

ps. Scripting it is your only option - but you can run and monitor said script from DataStage if you like.
