hi all
Could any one pls. explain what is mean by phantom error? Why it is being occurred? I've searched the forum but i got the information regarding identification of Phantom error only...

All DataStage jobs run as background processes on the server. Historically the name for a background process is a "phantom". The engine preserves this terminology. You can ignore the word "phantom". You can not, however, ignore the word "error" - something has gone wrong in one of your jobs; look in its log for more information about what that was.
