Copying the folder projects of Datasatge 8

Post by Jorge Juillerat »

I have a problem with the restoration of the projects in "Information Server 8".
I have two server, in the first server does not work the "WAS" so it was decided to copy the folder of the projects of DataSatge to the second server, but, they are not possible to be seen the "Job's".
What I did was the following thing:
1. - To create the projects in server 2.
2. - Shutdown DataSatge.
3. - To copy the folder project.
4. - Run DataSatge.

This worked in DataSatge 7.5.2

Why wouldn't you export and import the project?

Rename the folder projects. Create empty projects and then copy the contents of the renamed projects into those directories. NB This simplified approach will only work correctly if the absolute paths are identical on the old and the new machines.

You did not copy the projects into WAS/xmeta - follow ArndW's post.

I did those that you wrote, but, it follows without being "job's". My route is the following one:
Server 1: InformationServer/Server/Projects/Test
server 2: InformationServer/Server/Projects/Test

What is the problem?

it is not necessary to add nothing more!, but, in the DB2?.
