Creating a proect from Commandline

hI

How to create a project from commnad line?
We need this info, because we have a sudo access to our id, from which we can change to root.. But we dont have passwd of dsadm.

you can log into administrator as root and with root password and create new project(s).

But, I didnt have root password either....

I have a sudo account, with which I can change to root with my account password itself...

Version 8 allows project creation from the command line, prior versions do not.

dsadmin -createproject is in version 7.5

Good catch - I just assumed that it was new at 8 since I hadn't used it in 7. So the orignial poster can use his sudo access to create a new project! Thanks.
