NEW USER: Problem logging into DataStage

Post by yaminids »

Hello friends,

I am trying to create a new user to access DataStage client tools.
1) On Linux server, I have created a new user 'abc' with '123' as primary group
2) Modified the user (abc) and added to 'dstage' group (secondary)

I am getting the following error when I tried to connect to any tool with new user

Error calling subroutine: *DataStage*DSR.ADMIN (Action=10); check DataStage is set up correctly in project INTREPORT
(The connection is broken (81002))

ACCESS DENIED: You do not have access to this project. Ensure that you are setup as a DataStage user for this purpose - see your Administrator

Can someone help me with this?

Thanks

Make 'dstage' their primary group.
