How to add new user

Hi,

Our datastage server runs on Unix.The guys who was taking care of admin part left the company few weeks back.
Can anyone please tell me how can we add new users to datasatge.

There is a chapter in the administration manual telling you what needs to be done. I have V8 here so can't give you the page numbers.

There's no such thing as a DataStage user - you simply add them as UNIX users and make sure that they're in the correct group for DataStage and the correct group for each project in which they're expected to work.

Each UNIX has its own commands for adding users and groups. For example on AIX you'd use smit while on Linux you might use add_user and add_group for this purpose.
