Generate report from DS Designer -Metadate missing in report

Post by satish_valavala »

Hi all,

When I generate report on a server job from DS Designer, it is showing most of the job Info but missing parameter names / Input column names / output column names / derived columns / passthrough columns. Is there anyway to show those in the report.

Thanks

There is typo in the subject of this post. It is metadata.

I think its because your browser has some problems with the displaying certain tabular data (some ActiveX stuff). Try opening up a report again, and see if you can "allow" the activeX or something to open (something like 'Temporarily allowing pop-ups' in your browser).

Its not poping up any messages (ActiveX or any other ). Simply opening the html file.

How about the 'yellow bar' just below the URL box; does it show anything?

Thanks for the help. Yes, I found a status bar on top of the browser saying that its blocking some active content. I enabled allow temporarly, now I can see that column metadata content in the report.

Thanks
