Hi All,

We are running our daily incremental in DW ,and we are taking the start time and end time of all the jobs (1026 jobs) manually. We are trying to automate this process, but we dont know where the logs are captured for all the jobs in datastage.

If we are running the sequencer, there might be some 30 jobs ,and there will be a log file must be created for the sequencer.

Please let me know the location of the log file captured.
Thanks,
Mohana Krishnan

Checkout the unix command line program dsjob, it's thoroughly documented in the Start menu documentation.

There is no such thing as a log file - each job log in DataStage is a separate table in the Repository database. The name of the table is RT_LOG followed by the job number. The job number is mapped to the job name in the DS_JOBS table.
