i am new to server jobs. Pls let me know how to write the routines and batch fiels in server jobs? help me. thanks in advance.

Take a training class - you get hands-on experience in a non-threatening environment where errors are OK, indeed encouraged (since you learn more if you make mistakes).

DSXchange is not intended as a substitute either for training or for support; though there will be some training materials offered through the Learning Center none of it will be (on current plans) at the "getting started" level that you seem to require.

As Wolfgang noted, looking at the existing routines via the Manager is a good place to start. Double-click to see their source code.
