DataStage compile failure

Post by moose2079 »

I am attempting to compile a DataStage job
- have done many compiles in this project(DEVDV8C4) before

- now the compile fails with
' Error calling subroutine:DSR_JOB (Action=5): check DataStage is setup correctly in project DEVDV8C4
(Subroutines failed to complete successfully(30107))'

DataStage may need to be 'bounced' - what are the UNIX commands for 'bouncing' DataStage?

"Bounced" means restarted. This ought not to be necessary. Can you compile any other job? Any routine? Can you compile a job in a different project from that same client? What happens if you open a new Designer client?
