Unexpect network error and Socket closed

We have two jobs that have been failing with two errors lately. Nothing has changed in the jobs themselves and other jobs using the same ODBC are running perfectly.

They are simple extract jobs. ODBC stage -> transformer -> ftp or file. They are failing during the initial ODBC extract. Here are the error messages. This first reports as a warning and the second is fatal.

[DataStage][SQL Client][ODBC][DataDirect][ODBC DB2 Wire Protocol driver]Unexpected Network Error. ErrNum = 10053

[DataStage][SQL Client][ODBC][DataDirect][ODBC DB2 Wire Protocol driver]Socket closed.|

I've looked around and have found nothing. I currently have a ticket opened with IBM. Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated.

There was an unexpected network error.

This is not a DataStage issue, nor is it an ODBC driver issue.

Get your network administrator onto it.
