Dear All,

One of my jobs is still in running status although I rebooted the server and stopped it from DS director. I have also checked the uvsh.exe in the taskmgr but I don't see that exe. But the job is still in running status.
How can I stop that job?
Is there any way other than using DS.Tools???
It has been running since last 3 days ago :(

Help me please.

Thanks,

If you have enable job administration in the director then you can do this by clearing the status in the director.

Hey,

Just re-compile that running job in Designer, then the status will be changed in Director. This happened with us too when we were working with Windows 2003 server & DS 7.5x2 version.

The job is *not* running but its status is stuck there. Clear Status File from Director is the answer, as noted.

Dear All,

Thanks......Thanks a lot.............
Now, I have solved it.
I renamed it to new name and complied.
Then I rename it to old name again and recompiled it.
I agree with Chulett. I think the job status is stuck but the job is not actually running because I could rename the job into the same name.
But I did not try to run the clear status files :D

Thank you all again........

No need to rename job...and compile and again rename....

Go to Director-->Job-->cleanup Resources

you will find all the jobs which are running....select the job which you have to stop and clear it.
