Clear the RT_LOG file for a specified date logs

I would like to clear the RT_LOG file for a specified date/range of logs.

For example clear the previous all logs, except today's log from RT_LOG.

Is there anywayt to do this.

Yes, it can be done. But it involves writing some DS/BASIC code. It is simpler and safer to use the auto-purge settings to let DataStage do this work for you automatically.

In Director, choose Job > Clear Log.

In the dialog that follows, select the Immediate purge option, but change the conditions in the selection frame so that, instead of purging all events, purge only those more than one day old.
