Problem when importing column defination

Hi Guys,

I have problem when I try import table defination through Plug-in metadata table defination.
The length for varchar2 and char are not imported.
While there is no problem when we import through ODBC.

Do you have Enterprise Edition? If so, import using the Orchestrate orchdbutil utility. There are known issues with OCI, and ODBC must make certain assumptions because of its own protocols.

No we dont have enterprise edition.
So can we classify this as datastage bug.

No, it's actually an Oracle bug. It does not give correct responses to standard function calls such as SQLColumns().
