oracle bulkloader stage not trapping oracle error mesages

When encountering oracle error
'ORA-01653: unable to extend table VAM_OWNER.ASAT_ARECVBL by 3200 in tablespace ASA_DATA_LM_50M using the oracle bulkloader stage the stage nor the job aborts.

Is there a way to ensure that the job aborts if the above oracle error message is encountered.

In 'automatic' mode, I assume? Not that I've found and it is definitely one of the downsides of that mode. Not only that but those kind of warnings don't seem to count against the limits you set at runtime. My jobs run with a warning max of 5 or less and I've seen an automatic bulk load happily log thousands of warnings to the job's log without it tripping the limiter.

Not sure there's anything one can do about it. Probably needs to be put before IBM Support for an official answer.

Is your target instance co-resident with the DataStage server?

Yes i am using automatic mode.

I will change the job to use SQL*Loader instead.
