Hi All,
We are having a large set of sequence jobs which we schedule to run during our overnight processing. There are instances when one of the server jobs fail. At present we create a copy of the sequence, remove the server jobs which have run successfully and reschedule the sequence to run again. I am sure there should be a better way to run the remaining sequence without making job modifications.
Help very much appreciated.
environment : Windows 2003 Server, Datastage 7.5 Server edition.

Checkpoints. Have you not looked into the following options available on the General tab of a Sequence job's properties?
* Add checkpoints so sequence is restartable on failure
* Automatically handle activities that fail
The first is the primary option you need but those two generally work well together. Check the Designer Guide pdf for the official explanation.
