Job import issues

i just tried importing a job which i exported from another machine running datastage on the same OS, i am getting the following two issues.

1. job can only be imported when the client code page is 1256 . currently it is 1252.


2. incompatible release or the file is expteced to be in windows format

any clues on what is going on ?

To change your code page, go to

Control Panel - Regional and Language Settings - Advanced

There is a section to load code pages. make sure you have 1256 laoded.

I guess there is a difference between the two client machines.

Or just change the Character Set property, at approximately line #4 in the DSX file, so that it is compatible.
