scheduled jobs uneditable in system scheduler

Post by ascen »

Hello,

Is that normal, that when I add some job to scheduler thru Director and then I open it in windows scheduler, then all fields are grey and they cannot be edited? It shows that the owner of that scheduled task is: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
I use DS as the same user as I add jobs to scheduler thru Director.
Thanks in advance.

You can set the user ID to run scheduled jobs in the Administrator client, on the Schedule tab (for Windows-based servers only). This overrides the default which, as you have discovered, is NTAUTHORITY\SYSTEM.

I know about that setting in Administrator. I tried it before posting here: it doesn't solve the problem. I tried it on XP and also on Windows 2003 Server.
Do you have any idea what causes the problem?
Notice that I have restart ds engine.
