Migration From Dev to Testing

Hi,

Version control helps in migrating the datastage jobs from dev to testing environment.

Can Gurus help me out with the steps for migrating the datastage jobs .

Not with the version control, i means before we make use of version control what are the steps in development env

Not sure what you are asking. If you will be using Version Control to do your promotions, there are no other steps in the dev environment. The process starts and stops with VC.

Or are you asking about setting up Version Control? That's covered in the manual and involves setting up at least one dedicated 'Version Control Project'. In the old days it had to be named VERSION, but that's no longer the case.

Even you may be asking about installing Version Control. It is separately installable from the DataStage CD.
