Uninstall it from their PC. Other than that... [shrug]

As long as they don't have the 'admin' userid / password, what kind of things are you worried about them doing there?

we have lot of developers working on different projects but on the same server .

We have frequently invalid password issue . All the developers have admin login as it is windows usr/pwd.

I would like developers to access designer and director and not Administrator.

Is there anyway to do .

By the way , i am a developer too but it is pain for us to change passwords when we have our production loads going on.
Other developers in different project have access to our projects also.

Thanks

That's a problem.

Seriously, remove the Administrator tool from their PC. If you have any kind of enterprise software delivery system, it can be done rather easily. What they giveth, they can taketh away. Other than that, I don't see how you can prevent it. :?

'You' in this case would be your company not you you.

I just mean a mechanism for distributing software to remote PCs without having to go to each individually to install stuff. A 'Push' system, like the one we use - ROVA. Do you have anything like that?

Let's clarify something. I don't mean a login that get's them into the Administrator client, everyone has that. I mean do they have the 'admin' password - the password for the 'dsadm' user? Most of the dangerous stuff is disabled unless you are logged in as dsadm.
