Hi,
I wanted to go to datastage training. We have Server edition installed.
The enterprise edition training is available.

Wanted to know if there is any difference between the
server edition and enterprise edition from the development point of view.
Will it be ok if i go for the enterprise one and i will have to do the development on the server edition one.

Thanks for your help.
Manish

They are enormously different, as in completely. Don't go to 'Enterprise' training if all you will be working on is Server right now, it won't help you at all. My two cents.

Both require different mindsets for developing jobs. It will benefit you in understanding the differences of the two animals. And when to ask your client to do an upgrade

If you are fluent as a server job developer, you could enrol on the Server to Parallel Transition Lab offered by the owners of this site. They run sporadically and are announced here.

My career path is up side down. I started with PX and moved to Server now.

I think that there is no need to go for training into enterprise if you want to develop and design in server, and yes there is a lot of difference.
