Oracle drivers for Datastage 7.5 unix 5.8

Hi


Where can i get oracle drivers.?Is there a website twhere i can download from.At the moment i am using ODBC.I want to start using Oracle Plugin.
Unix 5.5 and Datastage 7.5.

Welcome aboard. :D

ODBC drivers ship with DataStage. OCI client software is available with your Oracle software - contact your DBA.

Right... to use the OCI plug-ins, no 'driver' (per se) is required - that is terminology generally reserved for ODBC. What you need is an Oracle client installed on the DataStage server, and then changes made to your dsenv file so that DataStage knows where everything is.

As Ray mentioned, talked to your DBA for that.

There's a difference between the Oracle database and the Oracle client. Just go to Oracle.com and download the Oracle client for your OS and database version. Install the client, setup the tnsnames.ora file to point to your remote Oracle database, configure your DataStage dsenv file to have the Oracle environment variables, restart DataStage and you're done.
