abt universe

Hi,
since odbc drivers are not feasible to connect to universe, we are using command line interfaces to connect to universe.what we are doing is retrieving data from universe, use command like retrieve ,is there any command line utility to get information abt stages, like which is the source or source dat and which is the target or target data, some information abt links which is the transformation.
This commandline utility which runs on dsx engine.

hi,
can u please list the command line utility which helps in doing this.
can u plz expain the utility used.i have stuck up with this problem for a while.
