Server Sequence Compiled Error

Post by atan003 »

Hi,

There have 29 jobs and an User Variable Activity in the server job.

When I compiled, it was failed with a message as following:
"Error calling subroutine: DSR_RECORD (Action=2); check DataStage is set up correctly in project BISETL
(Internal Error (81021))"

But I don't know what is wrong.

Are you using the omit option while logging into the datastage, if yes, try with username/passwd and re compile.
Success consists of getting up just one more time than you fall.

Was this when you were compiling the job sequence, or a server job? Part of compiling a job sequence occurs on the client, and error codes in the 81xxx range relate the the DataStage RPC mechanism. Does this error occur reliably, or did it occur only once? If the former, check that you have write permission in and below the folder where the DataStage client is installed.

Hi,

I had similar problems.
It appeared to have nothing to do with the DS but to network problems.
