Can we use Source and target differently?

Can we use Source and target differently?

Hi all,

I have a doubt like can we use our source as DB2 API stage and target as ODBC stage ? will it create any problem with the table defnitions?please let me know the answer for this............

No, it won't have any problems.

Only thing that you need to make sure is you map the columns to compatible datatype columns from source to target.
Success consists of getting up just one more time than you fall.

Hi Skumar,
the thing is table definations must match in both the source and target.
