Did you reboot the system after you installed the SP2?

This is a known issue I believe. Ray Wurlod (reading the projection screen), stated "uninstall SP2" and apply the patches. We're at the IOD conference now in case you're wondering.

Or just get the 'SP2 Patch' for DataStage from IBM.

Some one from IBM is supposed to get in touch with me regarding this.

I suggested the earlier solution taking into consideration that you have already installed the patch for SP2 overlooking the actual reason that you have upgraded to SP2, and were still facing the problem, which in fact is not true. I re-read your post after reading other replies. Sorry about that.

What I actually said was "uninstall SP2 OR get the patch". Small semantic difference!

Who's on first?

(Don't go there.)

For younger participants and those who haven't been exposed to the great radio comedies of the 1930s, that quote is a line from an excellent and hilarious comedy duo called Abbott and Costello. There are still some around who can do the whole thing. You can probably find it on the Web - there is a whoson1st.wav floating around - find it on Google.
