Installation Error - DataStage Server on AIX

Hi Folks,

My Unix System Admin is running Installation of DS Server on Unix AIX. . . . but the installation died with this message:

Unpacking support libraries

A file or directory in the path name does not exist.
./install.sh[22]: /home/dmrs508/tmp/cdrom/aix/server.: 0403-016 Cannot find or open the file.
ERROR: cannot unpack libdslic.so

Any ideas as what could be causing this is appreciated!!

Hi,

To avoid from restarting the install process many times on Sun Solaris:
Make a copy of the CDROM to a temp directory, then rename the following files by adding a tailing dot "."

- solaris/server => solaris/server.
- solaris/dbengine/startup => solaris/dbengine/startup.
- setup => setup.
