Hai,

Server : Hpunix (U.S)
Client : WindowsXp(India)
Datastage: 7.5

We are connecting the server through SVPN.While opening the designer itself it takes 10 to 15minutes.After that we have to open the job, it takes another 5 minutes.How to increase the connection performance? kindly give me your valuable suggestions.

There are very few option left from DS perspective. It is soley a networking issue. concentrate on the improvement of your bandwidth.
BTW, it is really a FAQ discussion?

What is the configuration of your SVPN?
Where is the server located?
How many jobs are in the project?
