i get "nls_read_fixedwidth() - row 1, too many columns"

everything looks fine, i wonder why i am getting this,

i even searched the forum but couldnt get any matching response.

Your actual row structure and your metadata do not match, there being more columns (character positions) in a row than the total of column widths and inter-column characters specified in your table definition for the fixed-width format file. A related possibility is that your data include some double-width characters; this is most likely to occur in Chinese.
