How to retrieve the deleted jobs

Hi All,
I was working in mainframe previously if you delete some jobs in mainframes your actual jobs will not be deleted.

recently i started working in datastage.....and as my director is full of jobs
i have deleted some jobs except some jobs which am working currently

i was under impression that director works like SDSF(SPOOL) in mainframe and it will not effect my jobs

but now i foound all my jobs got deleted from designer and i dont know how restore these jobs i did not took back up could you please some one
tell how can i restore......

They are gone. Retreiving from a file system level backup is so perilous you're likely to corrupt your entire project. Job design information is stored as rows within an internal file, those rows have been deleted.

Export your development projects daily with a date in the filename. You never know when you will need them.
