Delete Datastage log using routine

Hi,
Please let me know, How to delete old datastage log using datastage Routines.I need to keep min one-month log for each job.

Welcome Aboard! Use the Auto-purge capability in Director. There's no documented API for managing job logs.

Thanks Kenneth Bland,

I have more than 10 projects, each project have around 150 to 200 jobs. I tried Auto purge using Datastage (version 6) Admin. Auto purge not working existing (OLD) jobs. Some of the jobs have more than one-year log.
I am looking for project level Auto Purge.

Jobs that don't have their auto-purge set have to be manually set, or you can use a utility program to mass-apply the purge settings such as one I supply on my website.

Hi venkatpendyala,

I think you can do what you want if you:

1.- Export all your proyects
2.- Delete / Create all your projects adding an auto-purge option by default for each project using the number of days/runs you want
3.- Import your exported projects
