Can we have Excel data as input file

Can we have Excel data as input file

Hi,

Can we specify the input as an excel sheet in datastage? (.xls)
I tried with tab delimiter but its not working.

Convert that .xls to .csv file and read the file throgh Sequential file or Fileset.

You can directly access Excel via ODBC. It's very easy on Windows platform. Search the forum for techniques.
