Error in Merge stage(Sequential files)

I am currently dealing with Server Jobs only
I have taken 1 merge stage output is linked to a Seq file.

I have entered names of two existing Seq files in the input of the merge stage.And mapping is done on Primary key

the error message is :-
MergeSeqFiles..Merge_0: Error opening first input file
MergeSeqFiles..Merge_0: Link property retrieval error

Are you sure you have the file names correct? Case is correct and they are fully pathed?

Check with View Data option.

Check if you mentioned file names in the First and Second file directory paths on the General tab of the Merge stage. If so, change it only to directory path. Thats one common pitfall one can overlook and hence that error. Also, as Craig mentioned, check the case of the file names and see if you gave them correctly.
