Just out of curiosity, does the IPC stage manifest the same problems?

I don't know, Ray. If I get a spare minute on Monday, I'll try it and let you know. Do I have to have Row Buffers enabled to use the IPC stage?

I'm pretty sure you do, Tony. I seem to recall it being documented in the .pdf or online help...

How would I use the IPC Stage in these jobs? Between the cascaded transformers?

You do need row buffering on for the UPC stage to do anything.

Yes, you place an IPC stage between two active stages; it introduces a process boundary, in much the same way as a passive stage would, but without the restriction of having to wait until input is closed before opening output.

Looks like we might all need to RTFM.

Sorry, Ray. I'm at home and don't have any manuals with me. Strangely, I don't have DataStage installed on my home PC  . I will RTFM when I get back to work on Monday, though.

Thanks again for your help.
