How to open a job "being accessed by another user"

Post by olgc »

Hi there,

When something happens with Designer and it has to be ended enforcedly, some jobs are open in it at this point. When the Designer is launched again and try to open these jobs, the message below is occured:

Job xx is being accessed by another user.

How to open this kind of job?

Clear the locks

You need to clear the locks associated with the PID that had that job open.
If you have Job Admin turned on in Administrator you can do this through Job ->Cleanup Resources.

In the Administrator, check the option 'Enable Administration in Director'.
In your Director you have access to the option 'Job/Cleanup Ressources'. You can kill the process here.
Other in the admisnistrator, Command List.readu
Recover your process number and kill it under Unix.
