Aggregation Bug...

Hi Users,

It seems that there is a bug in Datastage Aggregation Plug In in Version 6. In the debug I am getting the right answer and when I run this in the director the result are different.

If this is a bug is there any patch

Before saying it is a buck you should check if the situation is the same. To be able to duplicate you should set a passive stage (Sequential, Hash, Ora ...) directly before and directly after the Agg-Stage.

If it still does work differently you should contact Ascential support.

Hi Wolfgang,

I had used the Oracle plug in stage to put the data in staging table and did the aggregation. It works with the database. I will follow up with the Ascential support.

Check the decimal precision of the numeric value too
