os command for running jobs

Post by skintali »

Hi everyone,

I am new to Datastage. We want to know, if we can run jobs through operating system commands. Because, we will be using cron or ControlM for scheduling jobs.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I guess, I found the answer in DataStage Server Job Developer's guide.
The dsjob is the command to these tasks. I am not sure of the details, of course. Anyhow, any input / warnings in use of this are most welcome.

Typing in incomplete dsjob commands generates a usage syntax. For example, try dsjob alone, and dsjob -run.
