Join Stages and Lookup Stages

In the developers help i saw two stages namely Join stages and lookup stages these were under the Mainframe Stages heading is it that these stages are available only with the 390 are these not available with XE..
Because these stages are not shown in the designer/Manager view of mine I am using Datatage 5.2 ....
Do we need to download these stages from somewhere...
Please help....

As you guessed, these stages are only available as part of the XE/390 (mainframe) product. Not really sure why, but that's the way it is right now.
