Hi all. I am hoping somebody who uses Parallel Extender and Version Control can enlighten me on what is meant by the following text quoted from the 'DS 6.0 Version Control Guide', page 4-1:
"Note: When working with parallel jobs you will have to set up the required environment variables in each of the projects where you want to run the jobs."
Question: What is meant by 'required environment variables' and where/how are they set up?
Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge.

It's a warning in the Version Control manual that you must make sure that all the environment variables needed to execute the job in the PX environment are also promoted to the other project.
These environment variables for PX mainly have names beginning with "APT_"; you can read about them in the Parallel Job Developer's Guide. They can be accessed from Administrator and (iirc) from the Job Properties window.
