Dbase DBF files on UNIX

Has anybody been able to work with DbaseIV files (DBF) on UNIX system though I did find this article http://www.tools4datastage.com/forum/to ... C_ID=83734

But was just curious to know If anybody out here has been able to configure their systems to work if yes please let me know how to.

Would just configuring the ODBC driver and putting the DBF files in the correct location (binary mode) work for me.

Have been able to run the prototype on NT but am scared to goto UNIX [B)]

Yes. In fact, the Merant ODBC driver test utility uses a dBase database (the file is within the branded_odbc directory).
