The difference as compared to what? :?

A 'Row Merger' simply takes all of the incoming fields and 'merges' them into a single column / field. Is that what you are trying to accomplish? As requested, can you state your full requirements for the job in question - what is it meant to do? Perhaps the Row Merger isn't applicable and you need to use a different stage...

Row Merger

Post by Satwika »

Hi Good morning,

I tried to merge the rows in a single column, but it is not working.

Eg: i have an input

"1","satwika"
"2", "Ravi"

Expected output is "1satwika"
"2Ravi"
But I have got the output , same as input.

In help it's says that It merges the rows and provides a single column.

I wonder why it's not called column merger instead. I guess it can merge rows as well as columns.

The Server Job Developer's Guide says the default delimiter is a comma. On the Format tab, enter 000 to suppress the delimiter.
