call to function SQLConnect failed.

Hi All,

Recenly we upgraded our DataStage version from 7.1 to IBM DataStage 8.1. all stages are working fine except the ODBC stage. we are getting following error message


STG04UpdatePRISMORDEREQUIPMENTnew120051007..TRN_PREP: |STG04UpdatePRISMORDEREQUIPMENTnew120051007..PRISM_PKG__SET_IRD_STATUS_PRC: DSD.BCIConnect connecting to ops, call to function SQLConnect failed.
SQLSTATE=IM003, DBMS.CODE=0
[DataStage][SQL Client][ODBC][DataDirect][ODBC lib] Specified driver could not be loaded|

please advice

Hi Ravi,

Please check the $DSHOME/.odbc.ini and confirm that the ODBC DSN entries are pointing to the proper path based on your new DS upgrade path.

You also need to check the uvodbc.config file in the project and, perhaps, in the DSEngine directory.
