sorry my datastage server installed in windows server , can you just tel me where to execute hash queries

Did you or did you not successfully create a VOC record for this hashed file?

or run it from Administrator client. You may need to create VOC entry for that file usind SETFILE. search for syntax.

Thanks for your suggestions, at last its working fine for me, but only select statement is working delete statement is not working ,

Maybe it is because you only ran the SELECT command

actually my requirement is delete some data in hashed file, so i used uv stage to doing that . i can get the hashed data through the select statement but not sure where to wwrite delete query, even if i use userdefined sequel to delete records its not working
