Automate Converting OCI 8 to OCI 9

Hi All

There is a need to convert all the OCI 8 stages in a project to OCI 9.

The process we followed was, exported a job in XML format and replaced the Stage Type from "ORACI8" to "ORACI9" and the code worked.

Is there a better way to convert the stages?? Like any command from Administrator to do it

i just have information regarding an utility OCI8TO9.B, which converts your oracle oci8 stage to oracle 9i OCI stage, but never tried it.

please check out on more details on OCI8TO9.B utility.

Exactly. IBM / Ascential provides a utility to do that for you automagically.

Right, however if you do move to 8.x the utility won't work (eCase 125155). You'll need to use the utility in 7.x then migrate.
